Advanced Faculty Teaching Institute: Maximizing Course Accessibility by Minimizing Academic Ableism
This institute will provide a supportive and informative space to assist faculty in proactively eliminating barriers to learning, developing skills to interact effectively with students with disabilities, and learning the foundations of creating accessible course materials.

Faculty Teaching Institute
The Faculty Teaching Institute will provide faculty an opportunity to connect with colleagues to foster collaboration and community building within and across disciplines.This faculty development program is open to all faculty, though the program is designed for junior faculty interested in establishing a strong foundation in teaching pedagogy.

Faculty Fellows Leadership Institute
The CET Faculty Fellows Leadership Institute is comprised of leaders in teaching within each school who are appointed by their dean to help advance practices, initiatives, and policies that further the school’s goals toward teaching excellence. Fellows first develop a richer knowledge base of the principles of teaching and learning by attending CET’s Faculty Fellow Leadership Institute, and then use that knowledge to support their school’s efforts to develop, evaluate, and reward teaching in a systematic and comprehensive way, using evidence-based practices.
Future Faculty Teaching Institute
This Institute is intended to prepare USC graduate students and postdoctoral fellows to pursue excellence in their future teaching careers, beginning with exposure to an essential background in course design and teaching.

Staff Supporting Instruction Institute
This Institute provides training in foundational pedagogy to help staff support the USC community. It is ideal for any staff in a training capacity who teach or train others. All USC staff who feel this would be useful to their work at USC are invited to register for the institute.

Advanced Faculty Teaching Institute: Getting Comfortable with Challenging Discussions
The semester-long institute comprises a series of seven workshop-style Zoom sessions. Due to the interactive design of this institute, registration will be limited to 30 faculty.
Getting Comfortable with Challenging Discussions will provide a supportive and informative space for faculty to engage in discussions of controversial topics and manage discussion conflicts.
