The semester-long institute comprises a series of seven workshop-style Zoom sessions.
This institute will provide a supportive and informative space to assist faculty in proactively designing a course environment to support students with disabilities, and learning the foundations of creating accessible digital course materials. Institute facilitators, guest speakers, and participants will engage in the following topics:
- Identify ways to create an accessible and anti-ableist learning environment,
- Effectively address student accommodations,
- Create accessible digital course materials (Word, PowerPoint, and PDFs).

Zoom sessions are Thursdays from 10:00 am – 11:30 am Pacific Time

A digital badge and certificates of completion will be earned by those who participate in at least six of the seven synchronous Zoom sessions.
