Brightspace Guided Training

An asynchronous training course with written and video guides, created by Brightspace and customized for the USC community by the ITS LMS Team. This is an independent study option that allows you to go at your own pace, in whatever order you wish, at any time. Brightspace Guided Training will also contain recordings of the institute sessions and is available to all faculty, staff, and TAs. The course is located on the Brightspace landing page once you log in to the LMS. Look for the Moose. 

Brightspace 24/7 Virtual Assistant

An AI-based support tool that can list helpful “how-to” documents, and connect users to 24/7 chat and phone support. Once users are logged in to Brightspace, the Virtual Assistant is accessed by clicking the blue speech bubble in the lower right corner of any Brightspace page in the user’s account.

A support website hosted by D2L, the company that owns Brightspace. 

Brightspace Community Website

A website that provides “how-to” articles, and a platform for Brightspace users to answer questions and share ideas with other users.

USC Brightspace Help Website

A USC ITS support website with resources that show where tools are and what they look like within USC’s configuration of Brightspace. The site includes FAQs, step-by-step instructions, and a search function.
