AI in Education Faculty Institutes

Join colleagues from across USC for a six-week, hands-on learning lab focused on the real-world impact of generative AI in teaching and learning. The AI in Education Faculty Teaching Institutes are a practical space to explore new strategies, ask big questions, and test out tools in a supportive community. Together, you’ll experiment, reflect, and build confidence to make informed decisions about the role of AI in your courses.

What You’ll Gain

  • A deeper understanding of how students and faculty are engaging with AI—and where you stand in that landscape.
  • Revised assignments, activities, and policies aligned with your teaching goals.
  • Guidance for setting clear, student-facing expectations around AI use.
  • Practical strategies to streamline course prep, communication, and assessment with AI.
  • Inclusive and ethical frameworks for navigating AI in your discipline.

Complete all six modules and reflection activities to earn a Certificate of Completion and digital badge.
