As part of the Fall 2026 CET Faculty Showcase, Dana Milstein from the Dornsife Writing Program and Keck School of Medicine explored how hands-on DIY practices and AI can come together to teach ethical stewardship of AI-assisted workflows. Drawing on course activities that paired AI with woodworking, weaving, board games, music, and mocktails, Milstein highlighted how learners practice supervising AI while integrating human judgment, material knowledge, and embodied experience.
