James Green is a junior at USC pursuing a B.S. in Astronautical Engineering with a minor in Video Game Design and Management. One of the eighteen students accepted into the Resident Honors Program in 2008, James enrolled at USC a year early in place of his senior year of high school. James is the first Undergraduate Fellow represented from the Viterbi School of Engineering, and is interested in promoting a more interactive learning environment as well as fostering stronger relationships between professors and students. Having spent his first year as an undeclared major, James also hopes to use his wide array of unique classroom experiences to increase the overall quality of education at USC. Outside of the CET, James is most passionate about his role as the president and épée team captain of USC Fencing. Some of his other interests have included working with USC’s Rocket Propulsion Laboratory, volunteering for the organization Give Running, and running for the Men of Troy cross country team. James has received numerous academic awards during his time at USC and is a member the Thematic Option Honors Program as well as the Alpha Lambda Delta and Sigma Alpha Pi national honors societies. This semester James will be also be joining the Golden Key International Honor Society and the Tau Beta Pi Engineering Honor Society.
