Kasia Wasilewska is a PhD candidate in the Mathematics Department. Her research focuses on the field of dynamical systems, and more specifically – statistics of return times. She holds bachelor's degrees in Mathematics and Computer Science from University of Chicago and a master's degree in Mathematics from USC.
Kasia has been a teaching assistant for over seven years, two of which have been at UofC. She has been a TA for a variety of mathematics classes, from Pre-Calculus to Analysis and Topology.
