Seshadri Tirunillai

Seshadri Tirunillai, Ph.D. candidate in Marketing at the Marshall School of Business, University of Southern California, holds a Bachelors degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (BITS-Pilani, 1999) and a Masters degree in Management (School of Management, Indian Institute of Technology-Bombay, 2002). His current research interest focuses on the online media, especially on the impact of user-generated content on marketing activities of the firm. His other research interests include managing innovation and assessing the financial impact of marketing activities. He has rich experience in industry, working for engineering companies and technology consultancy firms. He has been active in research and teaching for a long time. Before entering the Ph.D. program, he was a faculty at BITS-Pilani, one of the top universities in India. His active research has been well received in popular academic conference and has also won numerous honors. He has also authored research monographs and book chapters. Apart from being a teaching assistant to faculty in MBA programs, he was the instructor for marketing management, a core course for business undergraduates at Marshall School of Business and has aided other Teaching Assistants to improve their experiences.
