Adam Bloch

Adam Bloch

Adam Bloch is a third-year graduate student in the Department of History. His interests lie generally in modern American history and more specifically on the intersections of cultural history, especially movies, and social/political history. He has served as a TA for History 225 (Film, Power, and American History) and Core 104 (Change and the Future: American Prophets).

A native of New York City, Adam received his undergraduate degree from Williams College, writing an honors thesis under the direction of Karen Merrill. He has also completed non-degree coursework at The University of Edinburgh and City College of New York. Before grad school, he worked variously as a reporter, freelance writer, athletics coach, and private tutor.
