Educational Resources Information Center (ERIC)

The Educational Resources Information Center (ERIC) database is the world's largest source of education information. It contains over 850,000 abstracts of documents and journal articles on education research and practice. From the U.S. Department of Education, Office of Educational Research and Improvement.

Federal Resources for Educational Excellence

Hundreds of federally supported education resources. Subjects include the arts, educational technology, foreign languages, language arts, mathematics, physical education, science and social studies. From the U.S. Dept. of Education.

HEPROC (Higher Education Processes network)

"HEPROC is a community of 2200 educators in 40 countries, serving each other as networking partners." Maintains email-based forums on the following topics: Student Involvement, Faculty Development, Institutional Development, Assessment of Learning, Teaching and Learning, Institutional Culture, Technology Adaptations, Learning Contracts, Course Development, Demographic Transitions, and Transformational Learning. Also posts information on education-related conferences, culled from various mailing lists.
