What is the USC Center for Excellence in Teaching?

The Center is dedicated to the inspiration and advancement of outstanding teachers in a learner-centered environment. It is a uniquely fellow-driven institution that addresses the impact of innovative pedagogies and educational technologies on student learning across the curriculum.

Who are the CET Faculty Fellows?

They are creative faculty, whose excellent teaching and exemplary scholarship are well-recognized by their peers. They are committed to excellence and innovation in teaching and learning. What is the CET Teaching Assistant training?

The Provost has required that all new TAs receive training before their assignment. CET offers a one-day training before the start of each semester for TAs from all departments not currently offering their own training. The dates each year are as follows: in August, the Wednesday before classes start, and in January, the Friday before classes start. Click here for more information about our training.
